GACCRRA Job Description For
Quality Program Manager

Supervised By: Executive Director, GACCRRA

Hours: Full Time – 40 Hours/Week


JOB SUMMARY:

Assist Executive Director in the coordination of services to Child Care Resource and Referral Agencies (CCR&R) in Georgia.  Provide technical assistance to local CCR&Rs.  Assist Executive Director in the day-to-day operation of all aspects of GACCRRA goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Analyze GACCRRA systems for effectiveness and improvements in service delivery
  • Provide on-site visitation, program review, consultation, and follow-up to CCR&Rs
  • Create a plan to assist CCR&Rs in the Quality Assurances process.
  • Work with GACCRRA network team to coordinate and assist the development, design, and updating of GACCRRA public offerings such as the website, any fact sheets, news releases, annual reports, brochures, and other reports
  • Work with GACCRRA network team to create and provide standardized forms/materials for use by CCR&Rs.
  • Work with GACCRRA network team to begin plans for a GACCRRA conference
  • Assist Executive Director with GACCRRA meetings
  • Participate in local, regional, and state meetings as appropriate
  • All other duties as assigned

 QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree in early childhood education, child and family studies or related field (Master degree preferred); and a minimum of three years experience in administrative/management experience; or equivalent combination for education and experience
  • Demonstrated communication skills, oral and written
  • Demonstrated organizational skills
  • Ability to interpret research, policy trends in child care, and assessment tools
  • Thorough knowledge of current child care issues and delivery systems
  • Experience or knowledge of child care resource and referral
  • Demonstrated adult learning skills
  • Extensive travel required

COMPENSATION:  Based on experience and education
