GACCRRA Job Description For
Data Manager

Supervised By: Executive Director, GACCRRA

Hours: Full Time – 40 Hours/Week

JOB SUMMARY:

Assist Executive Director in the coordination of services to Child Care Resource and Referral Agencies (CCR&R) in Georgia.  Provide technical assistance with software and electronic communication systems to local CCR&Rs. Provide technical assistance around data collection and dissemination.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain, update, and support GACCRRA website and agency windows computer and phone networks
  • Prepare and maintain other information databases for reporting activities
  • Provide technical assistance on NACCRRAware software
  • Assist in the maintence, selection, and purchase of computer/phone equipment
  • Work with GACCRRA network team to coordinate and assist the development, design, and updating of GACCRRA public offerings such as website, any fact sheets, news releases, annual reports, brochures, and other reports
  • Work with GACCRRA network team to create and provide standardized forms/materials for use by CCR&Rs
  • Work with CCR&Rs to begin statewide data collection
  • All other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors Degree (Masters degree preferred) in child development or related field
  • Training /experience in network operating systems
  • Working knowledge of business-related technology goals
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Multi-task oriented
  • Ability to communicate future technology needs of organization
  • Knowledge of Child Care Resource and Referral
  • Knowledge of early care and learning in Georgia
  • Ability to analyze and report on data

COMPENSATION:  Based on experience and education
